Krill Oil is an oral softgel preparation. The documented 2 Softgels serving provides Krill Oil 1,200 mg, Phospholipid-Omega-3 Complex 700 mg and Total Omega-3 Fatty Acids 250 mg. Krill oil supplies marine lipids, including phospholipids and omega fatty acids when listed. EPA and DHA contribute to cell-membrane composition and lipid-signalling pathways, while the phospholipid matrix differs from conventional triglyceride-rich fish oil. Astaxanthin is described only when present in the composition, and the total oil amount is kept distinct from its omega content.
