Nutricost, Organic Inulin Powder, Unflavored, 16.2 oz (454 g)

Inulin is an oral powder preparation. The documented 1 Scoop (8 g) serving provides Organic Chicory Root Inulin Powder 8,100 mg. Inulin is a fructan fibre that can serve as a substrate for intestinal microbial fermentation. Its prebiotic role differs from that of a live probiotic organism. This preparation supplies the documented inulin source and amount, with its contribution understood as dietary fibre and microbial substrate rather than a direct viable bacterial count.
