Planetary Herbals, Slippery Elm Lozenges, Tangerine, 150 mg, 100 Lozenges

Slippery Elm is an oral lozenge preparation. The stated 1 Lozenge serving provides Slippery Elm Inner Bark 150 mg. Slippery elm bark contains mucilaginous polysaccharides that form a hydrated, viscous matrix. This physical property explains its use in botanical preparations for mucosal and digestive comfort. The product supplies the documented bark material or extract, retaining the botanical identity and concentration given in the source. Its function is associated with the plant's polysaccharide matrix rather than an isolated vitamin, mineral or digestive enzyme.
