Vitamin C is an oral tablet preparation. The stated 1 Chewable serving provides Vitamin C 100 mg and Sugar Alcohol 1 g. Vitamin C contributes to collagen maturation, normal immune function and cellular antioxidant systems. Ascorbate acts as a cofactor in hydroxylation reactions and supports the regeneration of other antioxidant compounds. It also contributes to normal dietary iron absorption. The preparation supplies the vitamin-C form stated in its composition, alongside any separately listed botanical or nutrient components.
