Zinc is an oral tablet preparation. The stated 1 Tablet serving provides Zinc 50 mg and Manganese 2.5 mg. Zinc contributes to normal enzyme activity, immune function, protein synthesis and cellular growth. It also participates in maintaining skin and other tissues and in normal DNA metabolism. The preparation supplies zinc through the mineral form stated in the composition. Elemental zinc quantity describes the nutritional contribution of the actual zinc-containing compound.
