Iron Nutrient Complex is an oral tablet preparation. The stated 1 Tablet serving provides Thiamin 5 mg, Vitamin B6 5 mg, Folate 1,000 mcg, Vitamin B12 350 mcg and Calcium 25 mg. This preparation combines the documented iron source with the listed nutritional cofactors. Iron contributes to normal haemoglobin formation and oxygen transport. Folate and vitamin B12 contribute to one-carbon metabolism and normal red-blood-cell formation. Thiamin participates in enzyme reactions involved in normal carbohydrate metabolism.
