Nature Made, Flaxseed Oil, 1,000 mg, 180 Softgels

Flaxseed Oil is an oral softgel preparation. The stated 1 Softgel serving provides Polyunsaturated Fat 0.5 g, Organic Flaxseed Oil 1000 mg and Alpha Linolenic Acid 500 mg. Flaxseed oil supplies plant-derived fatty acids, especially alpha-linolenic acid when quantified. Alpha-linolenic acid is an essential omega fatty acid involved in nutritional lipid metabolism, but it is chemically distinct from alpha-lipoic acid. Its presence is also not equivalent to supplying the same amounts of EPA or DHA found in a marine oil preparation.

Adults, take 1 softgel daily with water and a meal.
