Prenatal Multivitamin Complex is an oral tablet preparation. The stated 2 Tablets serving provides Vitamin C 150 mg, Vitamin D 10 mcg, Folate 1333 mcg and Vitamin B12 20 mcg. This prenatal formulation supplies the listed vitamins and minerals as a combined nutritional preparation. Folate participates in one-carbon metabolism and DNA synthesis, while iron contributes to normal oxygen transport in the formula. Vitamin C contributes to collagen synthesis and cellular antioxidant systems. Vitamin D contributes to calcium regulation and normal skeletal and immune function. Folate and vitamin B12 contribute to one-carbon metabolism and normal red-blood-cell formation.
