Pure Encapsulations, Vitamin D3 Vegan, 120 Capsules (50 mcg (2,000 IU) per Capsule)

Cholecalciferol is an oral capsule preparation. The documented 1 capsule serving provides Vitamin D 50 mcg (2,000 IU). Vitamin D participates in calcium and phosphate regulation, intestinal calcium absorption and normal bone mineralisation. Its active metabolites interact with vitamin-D receptors involved in cellular gene regulation. Vitamin D also contributes to normal neuromuscular and immune function. Cholecalciferol and ergocalciferol represent distinct vitamin-D forms within nutritional preparations.
