Borage-seed oil is a botanical lipid source containing the fatty acids identified in the composition. Gamma-linolenic acid is an omega-6 fatty acid involved in lipid-metabolism pathways and cellular-membrane nutrition. The total oil amount and individual fatty-acid quantities are distinct measures.
