Cholecalciferol is an oral capsule preparation. The documented 3 Veg Capsules serving provides Vitamin D3 50 mcg, Magnesium 144 mg and Magtein 2000 mg. Vitamin D participates in calcium and phosphate regulation, intestinal calcium absorption and normal bone mineralisation. Its active metabolites interact with vitamin-D receptors involved in cellular gene regulation. Vitamin D also contributes to normal neuromuscular and immune function. Cholecalciferol and ergocalciferol represent distinct vitamin-D forms within nutritional preparations.
