Hydroxymethylbutyrate is an oral tablet preparation. The documented 1 Tablet serving provides Calcium 140 mg and HMB 1,000 mg. Beta-hydroxy-beta-methylbutyrate, commonly called HMB, is a metabolite of the essential amino acid leucine.
