Swanson Vitamins, Betatene® Natural Mixed Carotenoids, 60 Softgels

Carotenoid Complex is an oral softgel supplement. The source panel lists Vitamin A 7,500 mcg RAE; Natural Mixed Carotenoids 108 mg per 1 softgel. This formulation combines carotenoid-related compounds with the vitamin A activity documented in its panel. Provitamin A carotenoids and non-provitamin carotenoids have different metabolic properties. The total extract quantity differs from vitamin A activity expressed in retinol activity equivalents, while the combined blend contributes a broader composition than isolated beta-carotene.

As a dietary supplement, take one softgel per day with water.
